NCT ID NCT07386262

Summary

This study is testing if a device called Adacolumn can help control dangerous brain swelling that can happen after a major stroke. It will involve 10 patients who have already had a procedure to remove the stroke-causing clot. Half will get the device treatment, which filters certain cells from the blood, in addition to standard care, and half will get standard care alone. Researchers will check if the device reduces swelling and improves recovery over 90 days.
