First seen Mar 04, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study follows 300 adults with a genetic condition that causes very high cholesterol (familial hypercholesterolemia) to see how their heart arteries change over 5 years. Participants will get a special CT scan to measure blockages and plaque buildup. The goal is to learn more about how the disease progresses, not to test a new treatment.
