Summary
This study is creating a database to track how skin symptoms change over time in adults with dermatomyositis, a rare autoimmune disease that causes muscle weakness and skin rashes. Researchers at the University of Pennsylvania will follow 300 patients for 5 years, collecting information about their symptoms, treatments, and quality of life. The goal is to better understand the disease patterns and how different treatments affect patients' skin and daily living.
