Can a quick polish during surgery lead to Better-Looking scars?
NCT ID NCT07213921
Summary
This study is testing whether gently smoothing the skin edges during Mohs surgery for skin cancer leads to less noticeable scars. Researchers will compare two sides of the same scar on 50 patients—one side treated with the smoothing technique and one side left alone. The main goal is to see if this method improves how the scar looks and feels after three months of healing.
