First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests whether two drugs, dapagliflozin and bosentan, can improve blood vessel function in people with large vessel vasculitis (LVV), a condition that raises the risk of heart attacks and strokes. About 60 adults with stable LVV will take both drugs for 6 weeks, then dapagliflozin alone for 4 more weeks. The goal is to see if these treatments can reduce blood vessel stiffness and lower blood pressure.
