Brain electrodes hunt hidden waves after injury

Summary
This study is testing whether a special electrode placed deep in the brain can detect harmful electrical waves called cortical spreading depolarizations (CSDs) in people with traumatic brain injury (TBI). About 15 patients who already need a standard brain drain tube will also get this electrode. The goal is to see if the new method works, not to treat the injury directly.
