Summary
This study in Zimbabwe is testing if a proven talk therapy program works better for adults with moderate to severe depression when it is combined with antidepressant medication. The trial will compare the standard talk therapy alone to the same therapy plus antidepressants prescribed by nurses. Researchers also want to understand what helps or prevents nurses from prescribing these medications in local primary care clinics.
