Can your heartbeat predict if brain zaps will ease your blues?
NCT ID NCT06455527
Summary
This study aims to find out if a person's heart rate can be used as a signal to predict who will benefit from a specific depression treatment. Researchers will enroll 100 adults with mild to moderate depression to use a home-based, non-invasive brain stimulation device for 10 days. The main goal is to collect data to see if heart rate measurements during treatment are linked to improvements in depression symptoms.
