NCT ID NCT05856552

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and group activities can reduce depression and improve daily functioning in elderly women in India. About 5,370 women aged 55 and older will take part. Some will receive CBT at home, some will join group activities, some both, and others will be in a control group. The goal is to see if these simple, low-cost approaches can improve mood and quality of life.
