First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looked at whether depression makes it harder for people with multiple sclerosis (MS) to recognize emotions like anger, joy, or neutral expressions on faces. Researchers tested 38 participants, including MS patients and healthy controls, using facial expression tasks and brain scans. The goal was to better understand the link between mood disorders and emotional processing in MS.
