Summary
This study tested whether a daily pill called REL-1017 could help people with major depression who weren't getting enough relief from their current antidepressant. Participants took either the new pill or a placebo (sugar pill) for four weeks while continuing their regular medication. The goal was to see if REL-1017 could safely reduce depression symptoms more effectively.
