First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This large study in Pakistan tests a three-step mental health plan for breast cancer survivors who also have depression. Over 26,000 women who finished initial cancer treatment will receive either the adaptive plan (starting with self-help, then therapy, then medication if needed) or enhanced usual care. The goal is to see if the plan helps more women feel better and improves their quality of life.
