Scientists hunt for Brain's depression fingerprint
NCT ID NCT04581902
Summary
This study aims to find brain-based markers that could help predict how well someone with major depression will respond to a specific treatment called transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). Researchers will use brain scans and EEG recordings on 50 participants before, during, and after their TMS treatment course. The goal is to better understand the brain changes linked to depression and treatment, which could one day help doctors personalize care.
