NCT ID NCT07608211

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a new experimental effervescent tablet can clean removable partial dentures better than a commercial cleanser or water. Fifteen adults with denture stomatitis will wear dentures with small material discs to collect plaque, then soak them daily in one of three solutions for 14-day cycles. Researchers will measure how many bacteria and fungi survive, and ask participants about taste, odor, and cleanliness.
