First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests whether a link worker—someone who helps connect people to services—can increase dental visit attendance and improve oral health quality of life in 480 adults with severe mental health issues (like psychosis) who haven't seen a dentist in 3 years. Participants get either usual care or extra support from a link worker. The goal is to see if this approach is effective and cost-effective.
