Dental implant study tests best way to place new teeth right after extraction

NCT ID NCT07589140

First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether drilling into the jawbone before placing a dental implant makes a difference in how well the implant stays in place and heals. It also checks if putting the implant in the center of the socket or in the root socket of a back tooth works better. About 124 healthy adults who need a tooth pulled and replaced will take part. The goal is to find the simplest and most reliable method for immediate dental implants.
