Faster dental implants: is immediate loading as good as waiting?
NCT ID NCT05409287
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at two ways to replace a missing lower molar with a dental implant. After the tooth is pulled and the bone heals for 12 weeks, some participants get a temporary crown right after implant surgery (immediate loading), while others wait 4 weeks before getting a temporary crown (early loading). The goal is to see if both approaches work equally well for implant survival and success after one year. About 100 adults with a lower first molar that needs extraction are taking part.
