Scientists search for hidden gum disease in bridge patients
NCT ID NCT07271563
Summary
This study aimed to better understand gum health in people who need fixed dental bridges. Researchers measured specific inflammation markers in the gum fluid of 90 patients to detect early signs of gum disease that might not be visible during a regular dental check-up. The goal was to gather knowledge to help improve future dental care planning.
