Summary

This study is testing if denosumab, a common osteoporosis medication, can also improve muscle strength and how the body processes sugar (insulin sensitivity) in postmenopausal women with type 2 diabetes. It will involve 40 participants who will receive either the real drug or a placebo for one year. The goal is to see if this treatment offers benefits beyond just bone health.
