Scientists track hidden blood flow clue in Alzheimer's brains
NCT ID NCT06322121
Summary
This study aims to understand how reduced blood flow in the brain's small vessels relates to Alzheimer's disease progression over time. Researchers will follow 120 older adults, including healthy controls and people with early memory problems, for three years using MRI scans and thinking tests. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help develop future treatments by identifying a potential early marker of vascular problems in Alzheimer's.
