Can fiction help us understand real dementia?
NCT ID NCT07482800
Summary
This study aims to understand dementia better by comparing how it's described in novels with the real-life stories of people who have it. Researchers will analyze language from 40 participants, including people with early Alzheimer's and healthy individuals, alongside famous books about dementia. The goal is to find patterns that could help with earlier diagnosis and teach caregivers to be more understanding.
