New app aims to help dementia caregivers avoid burnout

Summary
This study is creating a screening tool for primary care doctors to identify signs of neglect in older adults with dementia. It also tests a support program delivered in person and through an Android app. About 40 caregivers will try the system and give feedback on how easy and helpful it is. The goal is to improve care for both patients and their caregivers.
