New model aims to boost brain recovery in seniors after emergency surgery

Summary

This study looks at whether a special recovery model can help older adults (65+) who had delirium after emergency surgery. About 528 participants will be followed for 18 months to track changes in thinking, physical ability, and mood. The goal is to see if this approach improves recovery compared to standard care.
