New cream could ease painful skin condition lichen sclerosus

Summary
This phase 3 trial tests a cream called delgocitinib for lichen sclerosus, a chronic skin condition causing pain and scarring. About 652 adults with mild to severe disease will apply the cream twice daily for up to 60 weeks. The study measures how well the cream clears skin signs and reduces pain compared to a placebo cream.
