First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests whether a laser treatment called Monalisa Glide works as well as the standard steroid cream (clobetasol propionate) for controlling vulvar lichen sclerosus, a chronic skin condition. About 120 women who have already completed 12 weeks of steroid treatment will be randomly assigned to receive either laser therapy or continued steroid cream. The main goal is to see if symptoms stay under control after 3 months.
