First seen Mar 12, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests a temporary scaffold system for leg arteries in 40 patients with severe leg disease (chronic limb-threatening ischemia) who are at high risk due to diabetes or dialysis. The scaffold is removed after treatment, and a drug-coated balloon is used to improve blood flow. The main goal is to see how much the artery stays open right after the procedure.
