First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looked at whether doing core-strengthening exercises in deep water for 12 weeks could improve balance and muscle strength in people who are sedentary. Sixteen adults participated, with one group doing the water exercises three times a week and a control group not exercising. Researchers measured balance and strength at the start and every four weeks to see if the water workouts made a difference.
