First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests whether a deep-learning computer tool can improve the quality of brain scans for Alzheimer's disease when using lower radiation doses. Researchers will compare standard scans to those processed by the algorithm in 40 patients with memory problems. If successful, this could make diagnosis safer, cheaper, and more comfortable for patients.
