Summary

This early study tests whether deep brain stimulation (DBS) in two specific brain areas can help people with severe, treatment-resistant obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Four adults with very severe OCD will receive DBS in each area in a blinded crossover design. The goal is to see if this approach safely reduces OCD symptoms and improves daily functioning.
