Summary
This study tests a brain pacemaker (deep brain stimulation) for people with severe depression that hasn't improved with other treatments. About 16 adults aged 22-70 will have electrodes placed in a brain area linked to mood. The goal is to see if this reduces depression symptoms and improves quality of life.
