Summary
This study looks at whether a decision tree can help Child Life Specialists do their jobs better. Specialists in the intervention group use the decision tree to guide their care, while others rely on their own experience. The goal is to see if the tool improves specialists' knowledge and work effectiveness, and reduces children's pain and anxiety during medical procedures. About 40 specialists and their young patients are taking part.
