First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether 6 months of Dynamic Deconstructive Psychotherapy (DDP) is better than brief support plus safety planning at reducing suicidal thoughts in teens and young adults aged 14-40. About 106 participants will be randomly assigned to one of two therapy groups. The goal is to see which approach works best to help young people feel safer and less suicidal.
