Summary

This study tested a new type of vaccine made by fusing a patient's own immune cells with their cancer cells. The goal was to see if it was safe and could help the immune system fight advanced melanoma. Twenty adults with spreading melanoma that was getting worse took part. The vaccine was designed to teach the body to attack the cancer.
