New imaging tool may predict breast cancer treatment response early

NCT ID NCT03822312

First seen Apr 14, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether a new type of breast scan (DBT-TOBI) can predict how well chemotherapy works in women with certain breast cancers. About 30 participants will get scans before and during treatment to see if early changes in blood flow can tell doctors if the cancer will fully respond. The goal is to improve monitoring and avoid unnecessary treatments.
