First seen Apr 16, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study is not a treatment itself but a global online platform called DBS Matchmaker. It helps doctors from different hospitals share information about patients with rare movement disorders who are getting deep brain stimulation (DBS). The goal is to improve how doctors select patients for DBS and how they care for them afterward. Up to 500 people of any age with certain genetic movement disorders who are having or considering DBS can be included.
