Power naps on the pitch? study tests sleep for soccer speed

NCT ID NCT07264777

Summary

This study looked at whether short daytime naps could help young soccer players perform better. Sixteen male players from a Turkish club tried three different conditions: no nap, a 25-minute nap, or a 45-minute nap before doing agility and sprint tests. The goal was to see if napping could make them quicker and make the exercise feel easier.
