Summary

This study tests a new oral drug called DAT-2645 in up to 30 people with advanced or metastatic ovarian cancer that has a BRCA1/2 mutation or is HRD-positive. Participants take the drug daily in 21-day cycles. The main goal is to see if the drug shrinks tumors, and researchers will also monitor safety and how long any benefit lasts.

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

DAT-2645 tablet

What this could lead to

If successful, this could provide a new oral treatment option for advanced ovarian cancer patients with specific genetic mutations who have run out of standard therapies.

What could go wrong

This is an early Phase 2 trial with only 30 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The drug may not shrink tumors or could cause side effects.
