Summary
This study looked at how two different diets affect the bacteria in your gut. 115 Black and White adults from Alabama ate either the heart-healthy DASH diet or a typical American diet for 28 days. Researchers measured changes in gut bacteria and related health markers to see if the DASH diet could help create a healthier gut and lower the risk of diseases like colorectal cancer.
