First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at whether the DASH diet (a heart-healthy eating plan) can improve liver health in children aged 11-18 with a fatty liver condition called MASLD. About 88 children will either follow the DASH diet or continue their usual eating habits for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in liver fat, insulin resistance, and other health markers to see if the diet helps control the disease.
