Sleep pill may ease depression symptoms in new trial

Summary

This study tests whether daridorexant, a sleep medication, can improve insomnia and depression in people with major depressive disorder. 134 adults will receive either the drug or a placebo for three months. Researchers will measure sleep quality and mood changes using questionnaires and overnight sleep tests.
