First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a traditional Chinese mind-body exercise called Dao-yin can improve sleep, quality of life, and overall well-being in breast cancer patients who had surgery and are receiving chemotherapy. About 150 women participated, with some doing daily 20-minute Dao-yin sessions and others receiving standard care. The results may show that this gentle exercise helps reduce sleep problems and enhances well-being during cancer treatment.
