Tango vs. exercises: the dance to fight chemo side effects

NCT ID NCT05114005

Summary

This study tested whether group Argentine Tango dance classes could help breast cancer survivors manage chemotherapy side effects better than standard home exercises. Fifty-two survivors with neuropathy symptoms were randomly assigned to either take 16 Tango classes or follow a home exercise program. Researchers measured changes in balance, walking stability, pain, fatigue, and fall risk over six months to see if the social and physical aspects of dance provided more benefit.
