NCT ID NCT03892980

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study looks at whether the da Vinci robot can safely perform nipple-sparing mastectomy (removing breast tissue while keeping the nipple) in women at high risk for breast cancer. About 145 women aged 18-80 with small to moderate breasts and no or mild sagging will take part. The main goals are to see if the robot can complete the surgery without switching to open surgery and to track any side effects.
