Summary
This study tests whether a daily dose of D-serine, a natural amino acid, can reduce symptoms and slow the progression of Parkinson's disease. One hundred people with early-stage Parkinson's will receive either D-serine or a placebo for 58 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in movement, thinking, and brain scans to see if the treatment helps.
