NCT ID NCT07484867
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looked at how a gene called CYP2D6 influences pain relief from the drug oxycodone in 100 older adults (age 60+) having lung cancer surgery. Researchers measured pain and sedation levels to see if genetic differences affect how well the drug works and how safe it is. The goal is to help doctors choose the right dose for each patient, reducing side effects and improving pain control.
