This study tested whether adding gentle electrical pulses to leg muscles during stationary cycling helps people who survived severe COVID-19 regain movement faster. Twenty-two adults who had been on breathing machines in the ICU took part. Researchers measured how much time they spent sitting versus being active over four weeks of rehab.
