Scientists hunt clues to mysterious immune disorder complications
NCT ID NCT07255157
Summary
This study aims to understand why some adults with Common Variable Immunodeficiency (CVID) develop serious non-infectious complications while others don't. Researchers will examine specific immune cells called Tph cells in 60 participants to see if these cells help drive harmful immune responses. The goal is to identify potential biomarkers that could predict which patients might develop complications and guide future treatment development.
