3D-Printed hip implants aim to fix failed surgeries

NCT ID NCT06527664

Summary

This study is testing a personalized, 3D-printed hip socket implant for people who need a second surgery because their first hip replacement failed. The implant is custom-made from a CT scan to fit the patient's specific bone damage. Researchers will follow 15 patients for three years to see how well the implant works, how safe it is, and if it improves pain and mobility.
