First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests a surgical tool called CUSA Clarity that uses ultrasound to selectively remove endometriosis cyst lining while leaving healthy ovary tissue intact. Researchers will examine cyst wall samples from 10 women to see if the tool can spare ovarian tissue, which may help preserve fertility. The goal is to develop a more ovary-friendly surgery for women with ovarian endometriomas.
