First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tests a new surgical device called CUSA Clarity that uses ultrasound to selectively remove endometriotic cysts from the ovary while leaving healthy tissue intact. Researchers will examine cyst wall samples from 10 women to see if the device can spare ovarian tissue, which may help preserve fertility. The goal is to develop a safer surgical approach for women with ovarian endometriomas.
