New tool aims to bridge cultural gaps in youth mental health care

Summary

This study is creating a new tool to help therapists decide how to adjust standard mental health treatments to better match the cultural values and experiences of Latine youth. The goal is to improve treatment engagement and outcomes for young people dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or disruptive behaviors. Researchers will test the tool with 64 youth and their therapists to see if it's practical and helpful.
